Awesome!  What a ride that must have been.

I grew up in Arizona.. lots of long, straight, flat roads.  Just flat enough
to lull you into a trance and then *BLAM* a huge dip in the road where a dry
river (we call them "washes") flow!  That'll wake you up in a hurry.
