Monday June 15, 2009
6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Meeting at Nortel Networks
4001 E. Chapel Hill-Nelson Highway
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina
(Google doesn't understand this street address: see direction details
below)

Summary:

TriJUG was unable to secure a speaker for the regular meeting date this
month, so we will fall back on a get together with informal discussion.
Join your peers for friendly discussions. Short (e.g. 5 minute)
technical presentations are also welcome to focus discussion.

Also FYI:
On Wednesday June 24th there *might* be a special TriJUG meeting
with the usual evening timetable and at the regular Nortel meeting
place, But we haven't gotten a go/no go for the meeting room at Nortel.
Iff the meeting room can be reserved and Sun Microsystems hasn't given
up on us, then Sun will make an in-depth technical presentation that
evening about the (Sun derived) open source Glassfish application
server. Stay tuned. Sorry for the disarray!

Agenda:

6:30 - 7:00 PM -- Meet, Talk, free Pizza
(Attendees coming before 6:30 should gather in the cafe area while the
meeting area is being prepared)

7:00 - 7:15 -- JUG Business and Announcements
7:15 - 8:15 -- Presentation
8:15 - 8:30 -- Discussion with Presenter
9:00 - Doors close

Admission:

I'm 95% sure the TriJUG board will OK suspension of a meeting charge for
this Monday's meeting. This would imply extending all memberships by one
month also. In case this is mistaken, then the following applies:

Paid-up members of TriJUG may attend without additional charge. Non
members are asked to pay $5 per meeting. But, if you are either a full
time student or unemployed, then we ask only $2 per meeting. Membership
for 12 months is $40 and $15 respectively. The December meeting is an
open discussion Birds of a Feather meeting where food and refreshments
are free.
