Tanner, sorry you're having Flash/browser problems.  My brother experiences
Flash issues under Linux sometimes, but I can't recall that I ever did.
Certainly not in the last few years running modern distros (mixes of ubuntu
and mandrake from 2005-2008).

Running a mix of Linux and Mac and Windows for the past several years, I've
got *one* problem with Flash on one Mac - 10.4.x - where Flash under Firefox
just quit working.  Browser loads fine, Flash just doesn't execute.  I
haven't bothered to try to fix it (upgrading versions or reinstalling)
because it works under Safari and I don't use that computer all that much.
So, yes, I understand (and have experienced firsthand) people have browser
problems with Flash sometimes.

Very interested to see what alternatives people propose to streaming videos,
and to what extent those are easier than using pre-done Flash solutions.
