[TriLUG] How to get realistic sounding guitar out of TuxGuitar

I'm not sure about Guitar Pro, but Tux Guitar is soundfont-based, which
means that the quality of the sounds it generates is directly related to the
soundfont bank that's loaded. There are quite a few quality soundfont banks
that can be downloaded for free and even more that can be purchased. I
haven't used mine in a while but I don't remember it sounding that bad. I
know I downloaded some big, high-res soundfonts from somewhere though. I'll
fire my Ubuntu Studio box up tomorrow and look to see which one I'm using if
you wish.
