Just out of curiousity, why do you have FF running for 2-3 *days*? It's 
normally a good idea to close a browser when you're done for the session 
anyway so that sites that don't do logout correctly (or anything that 
uses basic HTTP auth like a .htaccess file) will have the credentials 
cleared.
