[TriLUG] deleted iPhone data

I realize this is a bit off focus but I am hoping that one of the 10- 
pound brains around knows the answer.

My wife's iPhone had several mail accounts; one of which was an  
Exchange account. She no longer had access to that mail server so I  
removed that account form her phone. All of her contacts and calendar  
data are now gone. Anyone know of a miracle cure for this? I do not  
know if we have a data backup on her Mac.
