Yikes! 160/mo HOA!

I noticed my bill was "rolled up" too. Hard to tell when you're being screwed.

Just when you thought this thread was dead... I just got my TWC bill... so
to throw another breakdown into the mix, Time Warner also increased my bill
recently. About 1-2 years ago I spoke with them to have my RR line item
reduced, I have standard RR service and they reduced it from $44.95 to
$39.95. The last couple months my bill has been about $3 more than usual.
They don't break apart the digital cable and RR line items anymore. So, I
called and asked what the breakdown was and RR had magically gone up to
$42.95!

Bill changes:
digi cable + RR - $59.25
breakdown - $16.30 + $42.95 respectively
hbo/cinemax combo - $20

I transferred to retention dept. as others have suggested. I've been a
customer for 10+ years at my current residence.

digi cable - $16.53
RR - $34.95
hbo/cinemax $20

Total bill reduced by $8/month (after taxes are calculated) and I was told
this pricing would be good for 1 year.

So, check your bill, question the line items and save yourself some money!
thanks to all who posted. I'll stick with RR instead of Earthlink since
they took it down to $34.95

thanks all,
David

PS - if you are wondering why the digi cable portion of my bill seems so low
it's b/c the condo HOA pays for the basic cable portion of the bill in bulk.
(good for owners who rent, bad for those of us who think $160/month for a
condo HOA in 88-110K priced condos is ridiculous!!!!!) I do have the full
selection of HD channels as you would expect with the digi cable product.
