*1 Junior- and 1 Mid-level Python Developer and 1 Database Developer
(Postgres with Python) - in NO MICROSOFT SHOPS:*

BSCS from an accredited university is a MUST and with minimum ONE year of
commercial and current Python server-side development experience.  A strong
passion for and understanding of Open Source and UNIX architecture is a
must.   Decent database experience with PostgreSQL and XHTML web
templating/Cheetah are a Plus.  The Database Developer position requires 2+
years of Postgres SQL database design with good understanding of UNIX/Linux
and strong scripting experience (HTML or Python preferred but Perl, Shell OK
too).   You'll be developing on OSX and deploying on Linux.



Our clients are both steadily growing, Charlotte, NC-based commercial
software development firms (they are product companies, not consulting or
services).  You'll be doing full life cycle development (analysis, design,
architecture, development, testing, etc).  *Both have cool, casual
environments - kind of start-up-ey if you will!  *

*Open Source System Performance and Test Engineer:*  Located in
Philadelphia, PA - we’re seeking a 5+ year candidate with a background in
Testing *commercial *software applications.  We’re seeking someone who is
passionate about the creation of quality software products by utilizing your
knowledge of all variety of software test (automated test for performance
testing, security & stress testing, concurrency testing, UI testing,
functional and system tests, database test, etc).   We'd love to find
someone with a solid understanding and respect for Iterative development
methodologies (Agile, RUP, Scrum, etc).   Experience with Bugzilla & working
knowledge of SQL is ideal.  And we’re not looking for a WinRunner or Silk
‘tester' – we’re looking for someone who can get inside the software, write
tons of automated tests (Python, Java, Twisted, Javascript, etc) and try to
‘break’ our products in order to improve them.    We need a ‘break-fixer’ if
you will!   We need a team player who is self motivated and has solid
communication skills – you’ll fit great into our top-notch team of
developers if you fit this profile.
