Dunno - which is why I asked. (grin)

I think Cristóbal is on the right track. We use Embarq DSL at the office *and* at my house. I can "telnet 1.1.1.1 80" from both.

Just checked my Dad's place in Asheboro, also on Embarq. Same thing.

Case closed, I would think.
