[TriLUG] virtualization

Has anyone had a lot of experience with using Xen or KVM in addition to
ESX(i)? I have been using ESXi extensively and want to try out KVM.

Is anyone using it in a production environment?

Does it have limitations or advantages in performance or functionality?

Can the guest OS span a CPU core? In ESX and ESXi, even if you assign
multiple virtual cores to a guest, that guest is bound to a single physical
CPU core.

On another topic, is anyone in here using GFS in production?
