OMG, I have spent too much time testing NFS speed :)
My summary, RHEL 5 has poor NFS server performance. I was never able to
get GigE NFS server speed from RHEL 5 NFS server for NFS clients
writing. I have found that install "ktune" will help with NFS reads.
Current Fedora and Debian do much better as NFS servers, but still not
as well as some non-Linux NFS servers.
