I have not had any problems with anyone refusing to help, although I am
a graduate student and don't have the same requirements as you might.
Beyond connecting to the network, there's very little you would need
help with.
The only requirement I've had from anyone was using Blackboard, which
has some weird browser-specific problems --- it does some things only on
Internet Explorer, some things only on Firefox --- but that's not
something to base your decision on.
