Network Specialist
Campbell Alliance is one of the nation's leading specialized management consulting firms, providing specialized consulting services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. We are currently recruiting for a Network Specialist to work in Raleigh, NC location.
 
This individual will help to support the organization's network and server infrastructure through installations, configurations, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenances of all associated systems and technologies.  The Network Specialist will work closely with Campbell Alliance's Network Manager and the Networking Team in order to support the organization's IT infrastructure. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: 
 
.         Assist with the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all server hardware, software, communication, and associated services.
.         Assist with the troubleshooting of all server and network outages.
.         Assist with the administration of the Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and File Servers.
.         Assist with the administration of the virtualization environments.
.         Assist with the administration of the Exchange email system. 
.         Ensure that all daily and weekly backups are automated and are completing successfully.
.         Assist with the administration of all HVAC, UPS, and Generator systems.
.         Assist with the troubleshooting of all network related issues and outages. 
 
Primary role will be to assist with the administration of the Microsoft server and Active Directory environments.  Needs to demonstrate an advanced IT knowledge in Microsoft Server technologies.  Secondary role will be to support the Networking team with additional networking responsibilities and functions.  Needs to have an understanding of Cisco networking products and services in order to do this.  This position requires this individual to be available for networking support 24/7.
 
.         Three or more years experience working directly with current Microsoft technologies and systems.
.         Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.  
.         Training in accredited technical University or College is a minimum
.         CCNA and/or MCSE/MCITP preferred
.         Strong organization skills required
.         Strong Project Management skills required
.         Ability to work in a fast paced multi-project environment.
