*Job Description:*
The position is for a motivated individual assist in configuring
existing products that currently use the Debian/Voyage/Centos (Red Hat)
Linux operating systems running within a new Federated IP communications
architecture. The products contains shell scripts that configure the
system as a router providing DHCP, support an Asterisk PBX, fail over
between two external network interfaces, and support IPv6/IPv4
conversion. The system may be configured to use SELinux.
*Responsibilities:*
* Working directly with the CTO will execute configuration of
Asterisk for new communications kits for Homeland Security
* Assist in the research, selection and implementation of VoIP
technologies and devices.
*Qualifications:*
* *_Experience with configuration and management Asterisk VoIP
systems._*
* Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
* Must having experience with IAX
* Knowledge of VoIP of VPN is desirable
* Must Have in depth knowledge of timing considerations in Asterisk
