The timeline here involves a particular former steering member who
shall remain nameless. That steering member failed to keep the rest of
us fully informed both about finances and about discussions with Jeri.

Please do not think that we, the current steering members, have not
wrestled with this mightily, including wrestling with how to bring
this before you, the membership. We wanted to keep you informed, but
we also didn't want you to go through everything we went through.
