[TriLUG] Tencent QQ questions

Hi Folks,

I have a user that wants to chat to friends on Tencent QQ using "QQ". 
Pidgin seems to have documented bugs with the QQ protocol and we can't 
get past the captcha on connection. From what I've read empathy doesn't 
work either.

We've tried the QQ linux client rpm, and the user was able to login. 
However he only sees a portion of his "friends list".

There also seems to be some security concerns with QQ

Does anyone have any extra info on this ?
