[TriLUG] Screencast with mic and system audio?

Greetings,

I'm hoping to do a screencast using Ubuntu Maverick on a recent HP
Pavilion laptop. I don't seem to be able to capture and record the
audio from both my mic   input *and* system audio at the same time. I
can do one or the other, but not both. I've tried various settings for
gnome-volume-control, alsamixer and pulse sound control to no avail.

Has anyone done this successfully? How?
