With the amount you've put into that system, I recommend maxing the memory.  I personally have the low end pro, with 8 gigs of memory, and the 8 gigs made a ton of difference in my use.

It's usually cheaper to configure macs with the default ram and buy more second hand, for whatever reason.

Personally I use crucial.com which has great ram a good prices.  Never gotten a bad stick.
