[TriLUG] OT: Lots of free cables***

Hi Folks,

I sifted fifteen years worth of old cables today and have three boxes of 
them I want to offload.

There are many different kinds.  RGB monitor, KVM, SCSI of various 
vintages, cable TV coax,
audio, s-video, power cables, telephone, old serial & parallel, and 
several that I no longer have
a guess what they were for.  There are also a few A/B type switchboxes, 
CD-ROM readers, and
some other misc parts.

I don't know whether anyone's interested in this stuff.  One option is 
to sell it off as bait for
outdoor air conditioning units. Just put a box of this wire on top.  Who 
knows?  It could save
thousands of dollars!

***One thing I want to avoid is getting several dozen requests to look 
for specific kinds of cables.
I'd wind up wasting hours and probably not finding it - been there 
before, so I apologize in
advance.

If enough people are interested, I'll bring these boxes to the next 
TriLUG meeting (and take them
to the dump afterwards).
