I found the problem. I had to put the audio output to HDMI. When I did
that it worked just fine. From what I found out DVI-D (digital) has audio in
it too. The dvi-d to hdmi adapter cord works just fine. WHHHOOHHOO!!!!

Hardware has to support the audio transport. You may need to use an audio
cable out to your device.
