Our client is an RTP-based online music education company that is
redefining the remote music learning experience
through advanced technologies that capture the essence of music
performance. By delivering these technologies 
to students and teachers, client is creating a revolutionary new space
in which music learning can be participatory, 
social, engaging and fun! We are looking for a talented senior web
developer that is as passionate about music 
and education as they are about creating great code. 

Required Qualifications:

Experienced Ruby on Rails development -- Must have deployed a Ruby on
Rails application and know how to:

- Experience integrating the Devise rubygem
- Manage backend databases

Experience developing RESTful web service APIs 
Experience in developing Software as a Service (SAAS) websites 
Excellent leadership skills. Must have lead team of developers. Extra
consideration given to candidates with experience managing outsourced
development.
Experience developing database schemas and relational tables.
Experience with Linux or Mac OS X system administration
Agile development experience a and overall project management
Experience with Git is a highly desirable
Experience with Heroku or Amazon Web Services is highly desirable
Need to be able to think about big pictures as well as details 
Proven ability to work with users to create a world-class user
experience
Excellent communication skills
Desire to work in all phases of the product lifecycle 
Music background and experience is a plus
