I work for Extron Electronics in Raleigh NC.  We have the need for
several embedded Linux developers.  We get work on some very cool
projects.  

There are about 15 engineering job reqs for the Raleigh location on our

My group is the 'Embedded Linux', we are looking for multiple developers
with broad skills or who are interested in learning skills.  If you are
a Linux hobbyist then you half-way there!

In addition to the Engineering jobs are are 20 other jobs -- tell your

Extron Electronics is headquartered in Anaheim, CA and is the leading
manufacturer of professional AV system integration products including AV
control systems, computer-video interfaces, switchers, matrix switchers,
distribution amplifiers, audio amplifiers, speakers, twisted pair and
fiber optic equipment, video scalers, AV signal processors, AV streaming
products, classroom sound field systems, and high resolution cable. Our

Extron’s Linux team works on Embedded Linux devices that encode and
decode Video/Audio.  The team supports a wide range of inputs and
outputs at a staggering number of resolutions.  The team streams video
via H264 to media players such as VLC and Set Top Boxes as well as to
the custom hardware and software products.  The team works with Linux
and streams to Windows and OSX boxes, as well.
