You can compile a kernel with support for the CPU, and then install
that custom kernel. The debian installer might work for this; you
might need to swap out the kernel in the installer media itself, too.
Or, if you have another box, you can pop the hard-drive from the C3
box in, do a regular install, and then replace the kernel and move the
drive back to the C3 box. You might run into trouble if the libc
depends on something that isn't in the custom kernel, but it also
might work fine.

Check out the debian wiki, I believe it covers doing custom kernel
installs. Could be a fun weekend project :)
