Holly Springs has hosted a shred truck in the past and one of the tv stations has also hosted a shred truck in the past.

I live in Cary and am sure it would go over well here.

Seems like Cary puts on recycle/shred events periodically, though, and may be an option.

I thought about asking if anyone had "a burnin' barrel".  :)  I used to, back when I lived in Franklin County.  Darn thing was handy for these types of situations.
