The problem is compounded by the fact that the vendor changes the
chips sets in the dongle without changing the model number or
packaging. The speaker mentioned that he bought 10+ devices from a
seller, and when he got them, half of them were using a different
chipset. These $10 dongles typically have a range of 10m.
The UD100 has much greater range, and more capabilities that you may
or may not need.
