It is probably the result of  "upgraded its root hierarchy to 2048bit RSA Keys to enhance the security of all SSL products".  We had 
to renew a few of them (for us and for customers).  You can renew now, and you will not lose any left over time.  It is easier to 
just renew, vs. trying to "update" the current one.
