Hey TriLUG,

For the past 6 months or so I've been working on a hobby project, mostly
trying to keep myself up to date with some trends. I wanted to implement
openshift, git, jquery and mysqli bindings in php. This is the result.

https://www.jauntedtao.com/

It's mostly geared towards finding parks based off your location. For the
bare minimum search just put in your zip code and go. Optionally you can
change the travel time (calculated by car, not fixie) or pick some tags.
So, if you want to go hiking or picnicking... just pick 'em and it'll only
look for those (OR logic). I'm only indexing places in North Carolina --
so, sorry to the dudes in Florida, D.C or wherever.

I've got some ideas on adding to it, but suggestions are more than
welcome. I also love hearing critiques, criticism or complaints. Feel
free to try it, maybe break some stuff, and let me know what ya' think!

I highly suggest registering if you like it. It'll let ya' add places,
submit pictures and rate 'em. It'd definitely make the site more useful
for everyone. Hopefully no Bobby Tables, though.

Thanks!
William (wcchandler on #TriLUG)
