[TriLUG] Recycling old computers

I use GEEP for recycling. They even pay by the pound, which is very nice. I tend to donate directly to the organization that needs the item for things that I donate. My company prefers to use United Way, but when I can nudge, I donate directly.

TriLUG,

It looks like Purple Elephant is no longer in business (
http://purpleelephant.org/). Does anyone know what is the best way to
donate old hardware? Ideally, if it gets fixed up and then donated to
schools, etc. it would be best.
