Perhaps the Barnes & Noble Nook HD? Competitive specs, SD slot, and
(reportedly) easily rootable to pure Android.

Subject: [TriLUG] Android Tablet advice.

All,

I've been thinking of picking up an Android Tablet, probably sub $200 range.
With all the no name tablets out there now, the choices are plentiful. My
concern is that I haven't really been following hardware/software in this
area, and don't want to buy a under powered device. I know it's a fine
line, you get what you pay for, so if I buy cheap I get cheap. So what
specs am I looking for? Ideally I'd like it to perform well now, and with
the next couple of Android updates if possible. Probably going for a 7"
tablet, maybe a 10" if I can find the right balance of performance and
price.

Thanks,

Matt P.
