[TriLUG] Increase log-off time

Sorry, are you logging in through a GUI - are we talking about screensaver
lock time?  In xscreensaver it's a standard option to change the time the
saver is on before the lock.  ("Lock screen After" - usually set to 0, but
if set to five min, the 'saver would be on for 5 minutes before locking.)

If we're talking about CLI logins, have you looked at the TMOUT shell
variable?  I see conversations around it at links like:
