I have a very brief comparison of six common file managers on my DataBook web
site: http://www.databook.bz/?page_id=2376
You should be able to find one you like. All of them can be used in a simple
way, and most can be configured to work in some very powerful ways. I
particularly like Konqueror, Midnight Commander and Krusader, and I switch
between them for various reasons.
