I am slowly trying to get a client to consider Linux. But there is one major stumbling block -- a database program
that is as easy to use as Lotus Approach. Because it must be networked Wine doesn't seem to be an option.
Yes, I know Approach is XBase.
Yes, I know no one uses XBase anymore.
No, they don't need a sophisticated SQL application.
The user interface, is so-o-o-o easy with Approach, and I have written a lot of LotusScript for this application;
which they have been using for nearly10 years.
Everything I've looked at is just too darn complicated (reminds me of Access!) Is there anything that isn't going to
require months of learning on my part and the clients?
