Yes.  Let's do a little arithmetic.  Assuming that you shut off the
monitor, Dino might use 75 watts (or maybe a bit more if you plug it into a
UPS).  Electricity around here costs about $0.11 per kW-hr or $0.00011 per
W-hr (but it's going up, thanks to the "renewables" mandate).  There are
365 x 24 = 8760 hours/year.  So 75W x 8760 hrs x $0.00011/W-hr = $72 /
year.  (Or just use the rule-of-thumb: one watt for one year costs one
dollar.)

The problem with dinosaurs is that they have big appetites.
