Appeal to the masses. Greg thinks my argument is this: "Because all these other organizations are doing it, it must be a good idea."

That's not my argument.

My argument was more like this:

1) You think that adopting anti-harassment policies will have negative effects on our organization.
2) Other similar organizations have adopted similar policies.
3) These other organizations have not experienced negative effects.
4) Therefore I reject your argument.

Sorry I wasn't clear in my earlier post.
