clearly the leaders there were struggling with the logistics of a disaster
of this size. The nice young lady that took my blood after 11:00PM tonight
told me she had been there since first thing this morning when news of the
first crash broke. And she goes back in to start all over again at 6:00
tomorrow morning. There were maybe about 20 people still waiting to give
their pint by the time I left the facility tonight.

I'm *REALLY* encouraged by the display of unity that almost all Americans
have displayed throughout this crisis. I'm frankly more than a little
embarassed though by the vocabulary used by prominent evangelists who paint
with a broad brush, speaking of the evils of Arabs as if all of them are
responsible for the hideously evil events that unfolded today. Just like
the kooky extreme of Muslims who are usually responsible for terrorist
attacks, there are some extreme kooks in Christianity that definitely don't
represent the views of the rest of us. Now is a time to pull together, not
to start painting blame with a broad brush.
