[TriLUG] Squid configuration question

Folks,

I am trying to set up Squid on one of my machines, and seem to have a
configuration issue.

When I try to use Firefox on my laptop to reach the new machine, I get
"The proxy server is refusing connections."

However, I don't see anything in any of the logs on the server that
indicate that a connection was attempted.

If I go to another, unrelated machine and do "telnet squid-host 3128" I
get a connection and if I send "get" I get an HTTP error message back
from the other end, and messages appear in the logs.

I tried setting up Wireshark on the laptop, but, as far as I can tell (
I'm no Wireshark expert ), a response IS coming from "squid-host." What
it is saying, I'm not sure yet.
