[TriLUG] OT: Anyone Have A Roku?

The roku 3 has wifi direct.

The roku broadcasts itself as a hotspot.  The only thing that can use it is the roku remote.

You can't turn this feature off (I checked with Roku support).

My ipad had a desire to select the roku.  Obviously internet access didn't work.  WAF dropped.

I couldn't be bothered spending the time developing a fix so I sent it back and replaced with a roku 2 XS.
