You’ll join a talented team to build and operate state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and applications to support Lulu’s development and production operations. You’ll have the opportunity to work with technologies from VMware, Red Hat, IBM, NetApp, EMC, Juniper, Cisco, F5, Symantec, and countless Open Source projects. You’ll work in the areas of server, OS, storage, backup/recovery, and monitoring/automation while helping grow and enhance Lulu’s private cloud architecture.

Responsibilities:

    * Perform day-to-day system administration duties on Linux and Windows servers on a largely VMware platform
    * Monitor and maintain an enterprise backup system and tape library
    * Assist with enterprise storage management (NAS, SAN, etc.)
    * Help resolve incidents escalated from the Helpdesk
    * Enhance network monitoring systems to improve system availability
    * Participate in 24x7 IT operations on-call rotation (approximately 13 weeks per year)
    * BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, a related field or equivalent experience
    * 1 or more years exposure to Linux or UNIX systems administration
    * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    * Ability to work with little supervision
    * Experience developing scripts and automating system tasks in a language such as bash, perl, or PowerShell
    * Experience running web or app servers, such as Apache httpd or Tomcat
    * Experience with enterprise storage administration (SAN, NAS, tape libraries)
    * Experience with VMware ESX virtualization

Qualifications:

    * BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, a related field or equivalent experience
    * 1 or more years exposure to Linux or UNIX systems administration
    * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    * Ability to work with little supervision

Bonus Points

    * Experience developing scripts and automating system tasks in a language such as bash, perl, or PowerShell
    * Experience running web or app servers, such as Apache httpd or Tomcat
    * Experience with enterprise storage administration (SAN, NAS, tape libraries)
