[TriLUG] modifiable web server source in C

All,

Some one I know has a special web server need. He thinks that his need fits
the following criteria.

- an open source web server created in C
- straight forward C code only
- very small
- no frills
- simple to install from source with usual *nix scheme
- modifiable at C source level

Any possibilities?
