Yes, please keep us informed.

A couple of years ago, I put together a Linux box with Samba built around
LDAP and Kerberos and managed to at least partially join it to an AD
system, to where it was recognized as a domain machine and it would let me
browse the LDAP directories, but didn't provide any sign on capability.

I am interested in how this goes for you.
