Performance Tuning of Complex Web applications
Presented by Rajesh Kottu

Summary
Solving performance issues of a web application becomes challenging,
as the root cause of the issues permeate through all the layers of an
application. This session sheds light on the possible bottlenecks in
different layers like CSS, JavaScript, server-side code, Web services,
database, and application server, and discusses the design patterns,
architecture, and latest trends to address the issues. The talk will
cover Several tools to help solve performance issues will be discussed
and demoed. Special focus will be given to tuning the http server,
application server, and tool-set for real-time load management.

Bio
Rajesh Kottu enjoys solving intricate technical, design, and process
problems to build top-notch software systems. Over the last 15+ years,
he has been fortunate to be involved in building several Web(Java),
iOS, and SAAS multi-tenant applications. Currently at Irondata,
constantly improving all aspects of their software engineering
systems, which keeps him busy and happy.
