Thanks Brian,

" I had a Debian installed". This sounds awesome. Were you able to run
FireFox? Were you able to make a phone call?

What i would like to do is get away from a legal contract with Apple or
Google. Its scary that I have to continually sign legal contracts with
them in order to keep using my phone. and scary how much data collection
and tracking they are doing. So, want something clean and which does its
job and not some clandestine spy device.

At the same time, I want a fully-featured consumer OS on my phone.

Thanks,
Tim
