How about the arp table? Is there an entry for 192.168.0.1 in there? Can
you us tcpdump or Wireshark to see which MAC address the packet is coming
from that's saying it has 192.168.0.1?

Since this is all on your LAN, it's possible to easily spoof an IP address.
Is it possible that your gateway somehow still "remembers" having a 0.1
address before it was changed to 0.80?
