Embedded Linux Software Engineer

Summary
Our local network solutions partner is seeking embedded software
engineers to join their Raleigh team to design, implement, and support
features on their newest state-of-the-art residential gateway devices.
The role with involve designing and implementing software features as
required by the product management team, resolving technical issues as
they arise, and providing technical guidance to other members of the
team, which may include leading junior level team members. The company
is small but well-established, and offers a laid back environment
where you can have a strong work-life balance but still work with
cutting edge technology on a new product.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* Must have 3-6+ years relevant experience.
* Strong embedded RTOS development experience.
* Strong C/C++ programming experience, with C being the more important
language experience.

Proven experience including the following is preferred:
* Embedded Linux Development
* GDB Debugging
* Layer 2 Ethernet Switching (Forwarding, VLAN, QOS)
* Layer 3+ Routing (TCP/IP, IGMP, DCP, FTP)
* Linux Kernel Development
* Device Management
* Experience with Voip (SIP, MGCP)
