my suggestion for longterm usage:
1) get IPS model, you will not regret that
2) X220 or X230 should be handy :)
I have X220 amd T430.. T430 LCD is very bad!!. X220 IPS is very nice!!!
even my old cheap gateway 1st gen i5 has better LCD than T430.. go figures
:P
