[TriLUG] Hack night locations

Hi everyone-
The Steering Committee needs your suggestions. We're looking for alternate
venues for our monthly Hack Nights, for a couple of different reasons.
For one thing, if we can line up several good locations around the Triangle
to rotate through, it would give more people the opportunity to attend as Hack
Night comes closer to home. For another, it would ease the burden on our
ever-so-generous host at Bandwidth, Scott Miller. He has been solely
responsible for hosting duties for both the regular meetings and hack nights
for almost the past year, and I'd say he deserves a bit of a breather. :)
What we need in a venue is:
* Open wifi, or at least ports open for HTTP(S), SSH, and IRC, for
everyone attending.
* Preferably a conference room or the like where we can all gather.
* Food and drinks would be nice (like a cafe, say), but someplace that
allows food and drinks to be brought in would work as well.
* Availability between 7:00 and 9:00 PM on the evening in question
(third Thursday of each month).
* VERY strong preference on free-as-in-beer venues, though we might
consider a very low cost venue from time to time.
So let's hear the ideas! Is there a cafe or restaurant with a room we can
reserve that you like? Does your company allow evening meetups? Are there
other places you know about?
Feel free to send your suggestions to steering at trilug.org - or we can discuss
it here as well. Or pop by the Steering Committee meeting that takes place
every Tuesday from 13:00-13:30 on #trilug-business - the channel is no longer
muted for non-ops, though we do try to keep things on-topic during the meeting.
Looking forward to seeing you all this Thursday!
