[TriLUG] Upgrade Debian 7 to 8

I've upgraded our production server incrementally from Debian Lenny
(version 5) to Jessie (version 8) using apt-get dist-upgrade.
If you have installed a lot of .deb packages manually, use your own Perl,
or other off-the-beaten-path things, it may not be so smooth, but they've
really worked hard to make it a stress-free process.
edit /etc/apt/sources.list and change 'wheezy' to 'jessie'
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
reboot
This makes me wonder why I have to reboot my Windows 10 machine every 2
weeks to apply updates.
