Definitely concur.
We bought one of their systems a couple of years ago. FreeBSD, ZFS, and
fantastic support. Had two self-inflicted issues, and their support did
all that we expected and more. Rock solid. Compared to the best
competing bid at the time, iXsystems:
* had a vastly more knowledgeable salesperson
* offered more robust backing technology (e.g., ext4 over ZFS)
* offered *much* better surrounding hardware
* came in at ~half the price
As ever, I'm open to better options, but for now, I'm personally of the
mind that iXsystems is the best-in-show (short of DIY inclinations, of
course).
