Am looking into Linux (Red Hat) training and certification (RHCSA).

I have very little linux experience but have been a Unix (AIX) admin for a number of years.

The Red Hat training site appears to show two tracts, one for a Windows admin with two courses and one for a Unix Admin (single course).

For Windows Admins:
Red Hat System Administration I (RH124)
Red Hat System Administration II with RHCSA exam (RH134)
For Linux or Unix Admins:
               RHCSA Rapid Track Course (RH199)

Anyone taken the RH199 and have input on that tract as opposed to the other two courses? Would you go that route again?

Are there other training and certification options available that I should consider?

I generally don't like the classroom experience but need to get the knowledge and would like to pursue certification.

Thanks,

Howard
