I am confused. Here is my question:

But when I read the replies it seems people think I want to know how
to do it, be it running a container offering ntp services for other
hosts to connect to or have a container which is accessing a ntp
server instead of using the hardware clock provided by the docker
server.

I guess my writing skills must be terrible, for I thought that "Does
it make sense to do X" would indicate I want to hear about the pros
and cons of doing X, not how to do X. To paraphrase Malcon from
Jurassic Park, it is not about the could but about the should.
